PR & Advertising Co-ordinator

Our client, the UK subsidiary of one of the world's leading manufacturers of products for the construction sector, is seeking a PR & Advertising Co-ordinator, based at their office in Halesowen.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Co-ordinating the company's PR activity in conjunction with the PR Agency to ensure the best possible coverage for the company and increase exposure.
Co-ordinate the company's advertising schedule and delivery of advertisements & advertorials as well as managing these contacts.
Regularly update the company's presence on social media platforms complying with company guide-lines.
Coordinate regular newsletters.
Assist with updating the website.
Provide support for the marketing department for both distributor and specifiers channel and sales team, to enable all organized activities go smoothly and to plan.
Provide graphic support as required, utilising your experience of Adobe Creative Suite.
To apply for this role you should ideally have a minimum of 2 years marketing experience (encompassing PR) and have a Marketing Degree (or HND) coupled with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Creative Suite (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). A full driving licence is essential.
Working hours are 08:30-17:00, Monday to Friday, although the role will include occasional out of hours work and overnight stays for hospitality events and exhibitions.
This is an immediate requirement paying a salary of c21,000 per annum.
