PA to the Sales Director
Our client, a long established & leading supplier of consumer products to retailers & distributors around the world, is seeking a PA to the Sales Director, based from their prestigious head-office near Redditch.
To apply for this role you should be exceptionally well organised and have meticulous attention to detail. It would be highly beneficial, but not absolutely essential, if you have worked as a PA or Executive Assistant to a Sales Director previously, as this will give you an excellent insight into the requirements, and challenges, of the role.
Specific duties will include:
Inbox management which includes screening emails, prioritising to ensure requests are actioned and initiating responses.
Collation of priorities & tasks record to monitor outstanding activities for completion ensuring the Sales Director is prepared in advance for meetings.
Meticulous diary management to ensure an effective schedule is maintained. The ability to ascertain priorities throughout specific periods of the year to proactively manage and anticipate.
International and domestic travel management for the Sales Team. Accompanying the Sales Director on client visits if required.
Be the key contact internally and externally into the Sales Directors office, maintaining relationships with Customers and the Sales Team to deliver dates & deadlines into the diary.
Responsible for the daily management of the sales overhead budget, managing invoices and processing - taking ownership and understanding of the total budget, resolving any pending and conflicting costs against the YTD plan.
Managing the Autumn/Winter Spring/Summer Sales conferences and quarterly channel conferencing for the Sales Directors direct reports.
Project management of sales initiatives for the total business.
Coordinating weekly UK management meeting, and following up on outstanding actions from prior meetings.
Ensuring accurate sales data is available including Phocas and NetStuite pipeline (Opportunities & Quotes)
Organising internal Customer communication (eshots, brochures mail out) and ensuring these are followed up by the Sales Team
Ensuring New Business Development generated at Trade Shows are actioned and followed through by the Sales Team
Ensuring the Monday one-2-one meetings are scheduled, taking ownership to ensure commercial data is available ahead of each meeting
Managing the Holiday Calendar for Sales
Managing the Weekly Planner, Home Working and Friday Rota
A basic salary in the region of 28,000 is on offer, plus benefits.
