This is a fabulous chance to make a real difference in an Online Marketing role with a growing brand. Reporting into the Brand Manager, as Online Sales & Marketing Executive you will oversee all online, e-commerce and digital marketing activity to help develop a winning online customer experience. Our client is an independent design, development company specialising in electrical consumer products for the floor care and gardening sectors. The brand is rapidly establishing itself in the UK with presence in many leading UK stores and is about to embark on a national high profile online media campaign.
Having recently launched a new website and online shop dedicated to the brand as Online Sales & Marketing Executive you will be responsible for generating traditional and online marketing strategies that drive relevant traffic to the site and increase sales activity. We are looking for an Online Sales & Marketing specialist with a high degree of literacy, numeracy and copy writing skills and experience of operating in a similar online marketing capacity. As Online Sales & Marketing Executive your responsibilities will include:
Increasing sales through the online shop and reporting figures to the Management team.
Devising the website marketing plan to promote the company and brand to the online audience and grow sales revenue.
Delivering digital marketing campaigns and promotions to deliver site traffic flow and meet set revenue targets within budgeted costs
A continual monitoring of the performance of all aspects of the customer experience through the online shop with a view to put in plans and activity to ensure that at all times the look and feel and functionality of the website are in line with our move to excellence.
Search engine marketing - both natural and paid
Working with our current customer database (CRM) to capture customer details and manage their data to use it effectively
Instigating affiliate marketing / company partnerships to promote the company and brand to the wider online audience.
Conducting analysis of e-commerce performance and providing measures of success, producing weekly and monthly reports to the management team
Working closely with the IT, Design and Marketing team, the Management team and managing external external agencies as appropriate if required
Supporting the Marketing Executive on other areas of marketing the brand where appropriate
E-customer collection:
1. Sort and evaluate current data held by the company
2. Implement target for acquisition
3. E-campaigns to generate 5k per month
Online Sales & Marketing Executive Candidate Requirements:
As the successful E-commerce Sales & Marketing Executive, youll enjoy real responsibility for this important business area, which is why its crucial that you can demonstrate:
A real desire to make a difference by increasing sales revenue via the website.
A solid background and experience in retail e-commerce marketing from either an agency or inhouse role (ideally 2/3 years) - experience using Magento is desirable.
Experience of the use of Google analytics and other web evaluation tools
Demonstrable knowledge and success in achieving significant growth in traffic and online sales
A proven ability to develop and deliver e-commerce marketing strategy
Experience of managing e-commerce / digital marketing budgets
Experience of establishing online marketing channels
Strong segmentation skills
Good literacy, numeracy and presentation skills
Familiarity with content management systems.
Detailed knowledge and practical experience of personally delivering digital marketing campaigns in a fast moving retail environment
