New Business Manager (Telesales/Telemarketing) - IT &Telecoms Managed Services
Salary is up to 32k OTE 80k DOE
My client offers a wide portfolio of managed services which include print solutions and document management to IT services, cloud computing, disaster recovery and unified communications. They are a well-established and recognised employer and are now looking to build a New Business Sales Team. They are a highly progressive company that can offer long term career prospects to ambitious employees.
Your role will be to look after New Business department and play a vital role within sales operations, motivating and supervising the team and leading by example to generate appointments with new business, for Sales Specialists to attend.
You need to have a very strong back in new business development coupled with excellent people management skills. You need to know how to motivate and inspire an internally based team.
Ideally you will understand managed services industry, with and a great understanding of IT and Telecoms.
This is a brand new role with a new team. Duties will include:
  Supervising the new business telesales team
  Providing a structured business plan for that week for the team to work to
  Work closely with Marketing Manager to execute timely and effective campaigns
  Sourcing potential new leads via sources including social media and business publications
  Carrying out weekly campaigns on product sets to increase sales
  Liaising with sales managers and teams regarding new prospects
  This is a lead by example role and you will also be helping the team achieve their sales figures
To be considered for this role you need to have experience of the following:
  Internal/Telesales/Telemarketing team management
  Sales experience of the Managed Services (Print), IT or Telecoms (not mobile)
  Proven track record of converting new business into appointments or sales
  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  Professional, with a high degree of self-motivation, drive and ambition
  Ability to work under pressure and under their own initiative
  Numeracy skills with a good aptitude for arithmetic
