An exciting opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager, or possibly an ambitious Key Account Manager, to manage some prestigious high street accounts.
This is an all encompassing National Account Management role, responsible for all aspects from New Product launch to day to day management. You will have full responsibility for developing these accounts, focusing on driving profit through maintaining current listings and driving further listings & distribution. You will work closely with customers at all levels, developing as wide a contact base as possible across all functions. You will need to fully understand the customer's buying processes, range management & be able to offer a Category Management approach to the customer.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of National or Key Account Management of high street retail accounts, maybe grocery multiples or pharmacy chains. Example accounts of interest would be Superdrug, Morrisons, Dunnes, Semi Chem, Asda etc. The skill set is the most important factor, so you must be comfortable understanding the market, market & data analysis, margins, range review processes, EPOS data. You will be charismatic, ambitious & resourceful, with high levels of self motivation. Experience in, or an affinity with Health & Beauty products would be advantageous, but not essential.
