National Account Manager
45-52,000 basic + car + 20% bonus
Our client, a leading international manufacturer of houseware and garden products is seeking a National Account Manager to further develop their UK retail interests.
This is a new vacancy reporting into the UK Sales Director, with responsibility for maximising distribution of all products/brands within the designated National Accounts. Key duties will include: negotiating annual agreements with customers; planning, agreeing & implementing new product and/or promotional activity; developing & managing effective relationships with internal departments across all company functions including finance, logistics, marketing, administration & merchandising.
Applications are invited from autonomous National Account Managers who can demonstrate a proven track record of success selling consumer goods to large retailers. You should have excellent project management, problem solving and analytical skills.
The ideal candidate will be prepared to travel extensively throughout the UK as required - location is flexible although Central UK would be ideal giving comfortable access to both North & South of the country.
