Description:
Our client, a long established and market leading manufacturer of consumer products is seeking a National Account Manager to further develop their already considerable UK interests. They are seeking a highly self-motivated, talented individual, as an integral part of their ongoing expansion plans.
With full responsibility for turnover & profit across their client portfolio, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing existing accounts, whilst continually investigating new business/channel opportunities with DIY multiples and large retailers. You will be an accomplished presenter, covering such matters as business reviews, promotional campaigns, NPD development programs & growth plans.
Applications are invited from autonomous National Account/Key Account Managers who can demonstrate a proven track record of success selling consumer goods to large retailers and/or DIY Multiples. You will have experience in category management & product development and be comfortable with budgets, margin analysis & sales targets.
The ideal candidate will live within comfortable commuting distance of the company's head office in the West Midlands.
On offer is a basic salary in the region of 40-45,000 per annum plus a bonus, company car, lap-top & phone.
