National Account Executive - FMCG
Midlands based
c27,000 basic, 32,000 OTE, Company Car & benefits package
This is an exciting new role selling an award winning 'quintessentially English' personal care & toiletries brand to new and existing retailers, including Department stores, gift shops and garden centres.
Managing, nurturing and developing relationships with independent accounts, & small chains, increasing range and improving service levels, sales and profitability. Working closely with customers and colleagues to develop joint business plans, where needed.
To support and work with the National Accounts team to achieve sales goals within correct channels. The opportunity to develop further with global responsibility for an up and coming dynamic brand.
Key Responsibilities:
  To deliver sales and profit margin to agreed budget
  To manage a large and diverse client database, including independents, regional and multiple accounts
  To win new business through existing sales leads
  To work with individual brand holders to deliver targeted sales
  To assess and classify a large client database and apply sales strategy for growth
  To build and nurture customer relationships
  To develop business plans for key clients and/or retail groups
  To issue monthly communications and sales reports
  Working closely with the brand controller in brand development.
  Attendance at Exhibitions.
Key Requirements:
  Passion for sales and hitting targets.
  High energy individual with a passion for building strong customer relationships.
  Results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  Valid UK driving license.
  High level interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication.
  Demonstrable experience of successful face to face selling. Previous FMCG field sales experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
  Ability to successfully interact with and manage customers.
  Ability to analyse financial and business performance providing insight and recommendations to customers.
  Experience with brand-led sales and negotiation with the ability to influence and persuade.
