Media Sales Executive

Established for over 12 years our client, based Birmingham City Centre, is a leading publisher of news & analysis on the global corporate finance market place.
With leading products such as the monthly print publication, they have become recognised as a leading source of intelligence to the corporate deal-making community.
Their print, online & digital products reach a sophisticated and influential group of corporate & financial professionals responsible for doing the deals that move markets and shape the corporate economy.
They track the latest trends in Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity and Venture Capital, Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring, Banking and Finance, and Capital Markets.
As a member of the Sales Team you will be based from their head office situated in a pivotal position, in the heart of Birminghams business district, responsible for generating new business, cold calling an international lead base of leading professional advisers
You will be selling various editorial and marketing packages in print and online format
Topics cover corporate finance and other high-level business issues
You will be trained to deliver a consultative sale on a complex and unique product selling to high level decision makers within the corporate finance industry
Working to targets and KPIs you will be working to an organised and structured daily schedule
The sales environment is vibrant & positive with sales generally being low volume but high in value
This is a 360 degree role and you will be expected to develop clients and build solid relationships once a sale is made

We are looking for intelligent and charismatic individuals with impeccable communication & organisation skills and at least 12 months sales experience in a competitive target driven environment.
Candidates must hold a flawless telephone manner and must have the ability to connect with high level professionals from all over the world (Leading Lawyers, Accountants, Consultants etc)
Enthusiastic, self motivated, money motivated and determined candidates will be very successful within this business
This position involves a fair amount of ground work to make contact and secure revenue therefore candidates with confidence and determination are sought after.

Starting basic salary 18k-23k with an OTE in year one of 27k - 32k, Earnings in excess of 40,000 are achievable once established.
