Marketing Executive/Analyst - Contract
23-30,000 basic - 6 month contract
Our client is one of the UK's largest independent specialist mortgage lenders with 9.5 billion of assets under their management. As the housing market recovers they are at an exciting time in their history with lots of new initiatives keeping their in-house marketing team busy. As a result, an opportunity has been identified to recruit an experienced Marketing Executive / Analyst who has worked across the full marketing mix, has an in depth understanding of quantitative and qualitative research and who can make an immediate impact in the marketing team. Whilst initially offered on a 6 month contract there is the potential for the role to become longer term.
The role of Marketing Executive / Analyst will act as an internal marketing and research resource for the company, planning, executing and evaluating marketing campaigns, including new media campaigns, in line with brief and delivering results within agreed deadlines. Additionally, undertaking qualitative and quantitative customer, competitor and market research.
Key Tasks:
Organise own daily workflow, ensuring that agreed deadlines are adhered to at all times
Work with the Head of Marketing to agree marketing briefs and timing plans which meet the customers
requirements and co-ordinate with all other marketing and design activities
Utilise marketing expertise in all aspects of marketing, including new media, to develop best practice in the
execution of marketing plans and campaigns
Report the results of all marketing campaigns to the Head of Marketing to enable them to inform future activities
Undertake research into the Private Rented Sector market and the customers and competitors within it,
ensuring research objectives and deadlines are met and results delivered in a cost effective and timely manner
Work with the Groups IT area to develop a customer database and, once established, undertake customer
segmentation and analytics
Review and develop each of the companies websites, ensuring that there is a consistent brand image across each sites
and that the sites are developed to their full potential
Ensure that all activity is aligned with the companies brand values and behaviours, is legal and compliant, decent and
Skills & Experience:
Financial services experience, preferably gained within the Private Rented Sector, across the full marketing and communications mix
Ability to independently plan, execute and evaluate marketing and communication campaigns
Experience of undertaking qualitative and quantitative customer, competitor and market research.
Knowledge of web, email and social media marketing
Experience of developing and utilising CRM systems
Skilled in the use of Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Experience of leading brainstorming sessions, moderating focus groups, and conducting face to face interviews
Understanding of segmentation modelling
Experience in customer insight and market sizing
Ideally educated to degree level
Holding a recognised marketing qualification
