My client is seeking a highly motivated individual with an ability to work within a team and on their own initiative. The successful candidate is likely to have some experience working in a marketing role covering all aspects of the marketing mix. You will need to be able to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders internally and across the business at all levels. And you will have a strong track record in delivering campaigns and activity with measureable and demonstrable results and outcomes.
The candidate will work directly with key stakeholders in the Media team that covers three core sectors - Technology, Media & Entertainment and Telecoms. Experience of these sectors is preferred as is an understanding of the issues facing their clients
Qualifications, knowledge and skills required:
  Marketing/business studies graduate or professional with at least 3 years business experience and be CIM qualified (or equivalent)
  Issue based marketing experience
  Good project planning capabilities
  Excellent project management and logistics skills
  Good writing and editing skills
  Networking and influencing capability
  Commercial acumen
  Some analytical skills
  Excellent measurement capture and reporting skills
The role:
This role is focussed on developing and delivering the marketing plan for the Media department, which includes production of marketing collateral, creating and delivering high quality events, managing target lists and ensuring focussed delivery of relevant materials and messages.
Key responsibilities include:
  Implementation of the marketing plans for the sector
  Production and distribution of issue based thought leadership campaigns
  Management of sponsorships for conferences and events
  Management of third party relationships with industry bodies
  Budget control, including measurement and return on investment
  Event development and execution
  Online campaigns, web site, use of digital/social media
General elements to the role:
  Ensure that the brand is correctly represented both internally and externally
  Ensure consistency of message into the market
  Ensure compliance with the firms policies and procedures
  Keep informed of competitor marketing activity
  Work with the business to devise new programmes to meet market needs
  Work with the business to support business plan objectives
  Work with the marketing community to positively enhance the reputation of marketing in the company.
