Marketing Executive - Events Team - c33,000 - London
My client is seeking:
A highly motivated individual with an ability to work within a team and on their own initiative. The successful candidate is likely to have 2 - 3 years experience working in a marketing role covering all aspects of the marketing mix. You will need to be able to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders internally and across the business at all levels.
Role description:
  Executing 3 breakfasts and 2 dinners per year
  Managing and executing ad hoc events and supporting the wider relationship development team
  Responsible for promoting event successes and key deliverables through internal communication channels
  Deliver against the plan including execution of all events
  Ability to manage large scale events (150 guests) and smaller round tables (12 guests), at times managing simultaneously
  Deliver all events on time and to budgets
  Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and sponsors
  Build strong relationships with key marketing contacts in UKI
  Ensure that CRM tools are maximised and championed
  Responsible for the management of the key marketing budgets (tactical) for each of the programmes and events
  Creative input into the design process, liaising with external and internal design team/suppliers to ensure the production of high quality, differentiated and brand compliant event material
  Creative input into the event menu selections and wines to complement those selections
  Contribute to the development and implementation of a relationship development strategy designed to support the growth of priority relationships across EMEIA
Qualities, skills and experience to include:
  Marketing assistant/executive level
  Demonstrable experience of managing and delivering large events
  A passion for food and an interest in wine tasting would be beneficial
  Experience of working within a professional services partnership would be advantageous
  Excellent interpersonal communications and oral skills - in particular strong written communications
  Excellent project management skills and experience of working with CRM systems
  Energetic, personable team player
  Creative flair and confidence
  Exposure to executive level staff and the ability to develop trusted business relationships with senior internal stakeholders and external clients and suppliers
