An exciting career development opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive looking to take the next step towards a future marketing management position. This company are a well known designer, manufacturer & distributor of a wide range of branded automotive accessories which are supplied into a diverse range of markets from retail & distribution, through franchised motor dealer networks, to automotive OEM accessory divisions & direct to major fleet users throughout the UK & Europe.
The Marketing Executive will have a wide range of responsibilities across the full marketing mix, but with the over-riding objective of increasing brand awareness to drive enquiries to the sales team. This will include managing the design & production of marketing materials; organising & attending key events, shows & exhibitions; Social media management such as Twitter & Facebook; Website management (in conjunction with external agency); PR & advertising; Oversee production of videography & photography for catalogues, website & online marketing; digital marketing, e-marketing; CRM database management & development; Market research both in UK & Europe; Analysis of market trends, sales data & ROI. This role is supported by 2 Marketing Assistants.
The ideal candidate will have a pro-active, hands on approach with excellent communication skills. You will have a broad marketing background encompassing all aspects of the marketing mix & be looking for a company where you can develop new ideas & see them to fruition. You should understand that the various routes to market will necessitate different marketing approaches, both b2c & b2b, and have a clear understanding of marketing for tangible results. Experience within the automotive aftermarket or retail would be useful, but candidates from different market sectors who perhaps have an interest in motoring, cars & similar sectors would be equally of interest - the directors of the company are fully aware that the successful candidate will need to be able to identify with the products & market in order to be as passionate about the business as they are.
