An exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Communications Executive / Marketing Manager. Part of a multi-national manufacturing operation (serving markets worldwide), supplying a range of well regarded branded products into the construction & home building / interiors industries, via Distributors, Architects & Specifiers, Merchants, Trade, Interior Designers & Retail. They have grown substantially over the last three years & are enjoying further growth in key market sectors.
The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for all sector communications, external & internal, including: Advertising & PR across a variety of sectors (Print & digital); Oversee Marketing literature design, proofing, production & distribution; Manage Events & Exhibitions; Social media, Website development; Showroom support including local advertising, POS & marketing materials; Competitor activity monitoring; Work closely with the Sales team, developing market & customer specific materials. Liaison with external agencies for design, Web, PR, advertising etc. & managing a team of 4. The role forms a vital part of a hard working & passionate Marketing Team, reporting into the Marketing Director.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Marketing Communications, encompassing all aspects together with experience of working with & briefing external agencies. You will need to have b2b product marketing experience (rather than service) and be accustomed to managing communications for a variety of routes to market. Design experience would be useful together with outstanding verbal & written communication skills. You will need to have excellent IT skills, especially in use of excel for analysis purposes. This role particularly requires someone who is pro-active & highly organised with good time management & prioritisation abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. Whilst there is a strong work ethic in the team, to fit in you'll also need to be prepared to have fun, be energetic, adaptable & to take personal responsibility. The international nature of the organisation means occasional overnight stays & international travel may be required.
This role will initially be offered on a 12 month contract basis, with the intention of progressing to permanent.
