My client is seeking an experienced MarComms Manager to head up a team of MarComms Executives.
Job Purpose:
Deliver cohesive communications plan focused on return on investment. Manage development and delivery of marketing programmes that project brand and products to market in line with marketing plans. Manage and motivate the communications team ensuring that promotional activities are focused on generating leads. Promote and communicate the value of the brand and offerings managed throughout the organisation.
Responsibilities:
   Reporting to the Marketing Director, the role is responsible for all marketing communications activity including design, exhibitions, events, public relations and budget control.
   To maintain a marketing Customer/Prospect focus and to strive at all times to promote and match the needs of the Customer/Prospects in line with the objectives and needs as defined .
   To maintain the highest credible image of the company online and within the market and territories.
   Projecting the brand image, developing and implementing specific promotions online and offline.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
   Develop skills of the marketing communications team.
   Marketing Communications - develop above the line and below the line plans in line with long term Marketing strategy, ensuring they are met and communicated internally, externally, online and offline.
   Advertising & Media - create and agree advertising and promotion plans through suitable media, manage the implementation of these plans to project products to the market.
   Exhibitions and events- plan and execute a programme of trade exhibitions, ensure that stands are built effectively to reflect corporate brand and that products are presented to the press and customers effectively.
   Costs & Budgets - devise and gain agreement to realistic marketing budgets, manage and control costs and expenditure so as to ensure company targets are achieved.
   Key Relationships - Provide liaison with the mainland Europe Head Office to ensure effective use of external resource to achieve marketing objectives are met.
   Marketing Projects - plan and implement ad hoc marketing projects and campaigns in collaboration with sales/marketing, in order to generate good quality leads.
   Brand Intent - to advocate and illustrate the use of the brand intent in all aspects of communication materials and in liaison with internal and 3rd party agencies.
   Research - use the qualitative and quantitative results from surveys and implement appropriate actions.
   Develop, manage and deliver internal communications plan
   Manage the activity of agencies to support the development of their promotional mix.
   Drive the continuous update of company communication activities ensuring that the content and quality meets the needs of our customers
   Track, monitor, measure and report on promotional activities ensuring that the data gathered is used to guide future similar activities.
   Develop communication channels and campaigns that support company sales strategy.
   Maximise promotion by ensuring that offline promotions are integrated into online campaign activity.
   Build and maintain good working relationships with customer services, service ops, sales and marketing ensuring that all understand the importance of supporting communications activities.
   Maintain the communications development plan and regularly report on progress
   Arrange and attend marketing events and prospects/customers as required.
   The ability to travel widely as required
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

   Marketing communications management experience
   Marketing degree or equivalent.
   Requires good marketing and communication knowledge and skills, press & media, advertising & exhibitions.
   Understands all concepts & principles underpinning marketing communications.
   Has ability to lead and manage a team.
   IT literate with experience of Microsoft office packages.
