An exciting new role is being created within this specialist IT & business services organisation, who market their services to a wide range of industries from Public Sector to Blue Chip corporates. Expansion & business growth have created the need to recruit an additional Marketing Communications Executive, to join the Marketing Team.
The role
• To generate clear, persuasive, original and engaging copy to support a range of multi-channel marketing activities. This includes:
oWell-written prose for brochure-type marketing material
oContent-rich, yet marketing-based copy for e-marketing campaigns
oShort, snappy timely content to support social media strategy
oWebsite content
oPress releases
oContent for scientific and trade journals as required
• To provide general support and input to e-marketing, social media, printed material and other marketing mechanisms
• To liaise closely with marketing team on marketing campaigns - and to proactively contribute ideas and direction for future campaigns.
• To be responsible for the management of the companys corporate message
• To carry out research into relevant subject/topic areas to ensure accurate message management - including maintaining familiarity with industry trends.
• To amend, revise or redevelop content of campaigns in response to feedback from sales and marketing team.
The Candidate
• Excellent copy-writing/journalistic skills - possibly in a technical/scientific context, complemented by a thorough understanding of marketing.
• A proven ability to write targeted, focused copy for a wide (and often conflicting) range of audiences
• Strong grasp of strategies surrounding e-marketing, digital communication, social media and traditional printed word marketing communication.
• Flexibility to ensure an empathy with diverse client sectors, and a desire to understand the needs and challenges faced by clients and potential clients.
• Project management skills
• Able to work under own initiative - on multiple simultaneous projects - to achieve deadlines while maintaining quality of output.
• Familiar with CMS (Joomla would be an advantage) and CRM systems.
