Marketing Assistant - PR & Advertising

Our client, the UK subsidiary of one of the world's leading manufacturers of products for the construction sector, is seeking an experienced Marketing Assistant, based at their office in Halesowen, to fulfill an initial 6 months Maternity Cover contract, which may well be extended at the end of the period.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Co-ordinating the company's PR activity in conjunction with the PR Agency to ensure the best possible coverage for the company and increase exposure.
Co-ordinate the company's advertising schedule and delivery of advertisements and advertorials as well as managing these contacts.
Regularly update the company's presence on social media platforms complying with company guide-lines.
Regularly monitor competitor press and advertising activity in the trade press.
Provide support for the marketing department for both distributor and specifiers channel and sales team.
Provide graphic support as required, utilising your experience of Adobe Creative Suite.
To apply for this role you should ideally have a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role and have a Marketing Degree and/or be working towards your CIM certification.
This is an immediate requirement paying a salary of c20,000 per annum.
