Key Account Sales Manager - Sub-Sea Projects

Our client is a well-established & expanding, multi-award winning manufacturing company based in the West Midlands, supplying bespoke engineered components & solutions to the energy sector worldwide. They consider themselves as the best at what they do.
As part of their ongoing expansion plans they now require a Key Account Sales Manager to focus exclusively on the project side of their business, generating sub-sea (100,000 plus) enquiries from energy operators on a global basis, and passing these onto the in-house project management team to handle through to project completion. The company already have very strong connections within many leading energy companies, so this role encompasses both the consolidation of existing relationships whilst continually investigating new business opportunities.
To apply for this role you will have a pedigree of sales success gained within a similar 'project sales' role, ideally sub-sea/energy/oil & gas/process related. You will be highly self motivated, determined to succeed and, by nature, extremely ambitious. You can expect to undertake a fair amount of international travel with this role, and when not travelling it would be beneficial (although not absolutely essential) if you lived within comfortable commuting distance (50 miles perhaps) of the West Midlands office.
On offer is a basic salary in the region of 40,000 (negotiable) plus commission/bonuses giving an OTE of 80,000.
