Our client is part of a highly successful multi-million turnover Group, one of the fastest growing privately-owned technology companies in the UK. Located in Birmingham, they provide IT support services and solutions to a range of customers, from the SME business community all the way through to large scale corporate bodies, the public sector, including schools, NHS Trusts, and police forces country-wide.
As part of their ongoing expansion plans they are now seeking a new team of IT Solution Sales Professionals to target prospective customers (Corporate & Public Sector) with +200 users. Working both office and field based the role is supported by internal functions including telemarketing and pre technical sales.
Specific duties will include:
Managing and delivering a sales pipeline within the Corporate and Public Sector business
Developing strong business relationships with clients
Selling virtualization, San storage, remote access appliances and/or security services
Working with various teams within the company to provide potential clients with the best possible IT solution
Attending client meetings across the UK
Ensuring that bids, tenders and proposals are completed to the highest standard
Collating client information in order to produce a solution
Delivering presentations both face to face and remotely
Working to targets and KPIs on a daily basis
Promoting and selling technical solutions to the customer with professionalism and enthusiasm
Providing accurate and timely management information and activity reports and forecasts
Achieving sales specialist status in some or all of the following: VmWare, NetApp, Sonicwall and other leading specialist vendors

We are looking for ambitious team players that are dedicated to getting results and hitting targets. Experience in a similar role is expected. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling support, hardware, software and solutions to Corporate and Public Sector bodies; Experience in selling virtualization, San storage, remote access appliances and/or security services; Proven record of account development in sales or a similar role in selling IT services; Confident in building relationships with potential clients and managing their account professionally; Confident and target driven with the will to succeed; Full UK driving licence; Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a thoroughly professional approach
On offer is a basic salary in the region of 35-40,000 plus commission giving a first year OTE of c60,000, open-ended. Earnings of 100,000 + are achievable in subsequent years. A company car or car allowance will also be provided.
