Internal Technical Sales
West Midlands
20-25,000 basic + bonus
The Company
Our client, a Wolverhampton based, leading manufacturer of safety critical components for the world-wide Oil & Gas industry, seeks an internally based Sales professional to further strengthen their internal commercial team.
The Role
Reporting into the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Receiving and reviewing enquiries.
Calculating the cost of supplying required items.
Producing quotations and handling customer questions/queries.
Closing the sale.
Administration of orders.
Buying items as necessary.
Liaising/progress chasing with Production & Logistics.
The Person
The 'perfect' candidate would be able to tick the following requirements.
An engineering or other technical qualification.
Knowledge of steel grades.
Knowledge of flanges & fittings.
Experience of pricing technical products.
Experience of dealing with suppliers.
Customer service skills - using to handling & resolving customer queries.
Internal Sales experience - used to closing the sale.
Basic IT skills - emails, producing quotations, data input.
Ability to build relationships across the business.

The Package
There is flexibility with regards to the package on offer in the region of 21,000-25,000, subject to depth and relevance of experience - possibly more for the 'perfect' candidate.
