Internal Account Sales Executive

Our client is a long established designer and manufacture of products for the mobile crushing, screening and drilling markets worldwide. They are the largest supplier of these systems worldwide and are very much focused on engineering design and customer service/sales. They are part of a group of companies that turns over approaching 100 million and employs 200 people in five different companies. The recruitment of an Internal Account Sales Executive is an integral part of their expansion plans.
Duties will include:
Taking email and phone sales enquiries from initial enquiry, through all stages of defining the requirements, making the offer, following through on the quotation and closing the sale.
Commercial support for existing customers ie raising pro forma invoices, transport arrangements.
Technical support for new and existing customers ie sending out offers with the correct drawings and technical information.

Generating of monthly sales reports for the management meeting.
Generating new business by visiting trade fairs, using contacts from the existing database and cold calling.
At present the role would involve no overseas travelling, however the company are looking to expand throughout the European and North American markets in particular so it is likely that the opportunity to travel overseas may come up.
We are looking for:
A reliable steady person who keeps their promises to go back to new customers and regularly follow up on existing customers.
Strong presentational skills and natural tendency to strike up and maintain a good relationship with people.
Locally based (within 30 to 40 miles distance of factory).
Ambitious and a never give up attitude to closing a sale, with no fear of cold calling or being seen as too pushy.
