I.T. Software Customer Support - Birmingham City Centre - 30,000 - 36,000
Our client, an International, market leading niche Software provider, is seeking an I.T. Software Customer Support person based out of their Birmingham City Centre offices.
Primary duties will include:
  Communicate with Clients either over the phone or through remote online access, helping resolve basic technical problems they are experiencing with the use, installation and configuration of associated software / Product Suites.
  Document / Update all support cases within the Customer Support software application(s).
  Assign case IDs to all customer support calls or emails, and communicate these to clients.
  Forward more serious issues to Tier 2 Support Teams - Programming / Patch Development etc.
  Supply the Programming / R&D Teams with an overview of software issues called in, thus ensuring known bugs are identified and fixed in future releases of the core product.
  Monitor all open cases, and ensure that each client is updated on the progress of their case.
  Escalate any customer concerns to Management
Candidate profile:
  A graduate in a computer related course (preferably Software based) with a minimum of 2 years relevant software support experience - this could have been gained with another software provider or as part of an in-house software support team.
  Highly customer focused individual with excellent customer service and communication skills.
  Able to work both independently as well as within a team environment; strong time management skills; excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
