An award winning & rapidly growing SME employing c120 people is looking to recruit an experienced HR Manager on a full time or part time basis. If part time, the hours are flexible according to the successful individual's requirements, but based around 4 days per week. The company have more than doubled in size over the last 18 months, resulting in the need to recruit a dynamic & ambitious HR Manager. They are relocating to much larger premises this year as a direct result of their substantial growth.
The role will involve all aspects of Human Resources for this profitable business, including contracts, disciplinary procedures, recruitment & selection, benefits packages etc. You will become an integral part of the company's growth plans, enabling them to attract & retain the best available people in their sector. Whilst they do have existing systems & procedures in place, you will have the opportunity to develop & implement improved practices across all aspects of the HR function, more applicable for the size of company they have become.
The ideal candidate will have both HR management experience & good business acumen - you should be strong on procedures & able to implement your own ideas & systems into a growing business, whilst understanding & appreciating the flexible approach an SME needs to take. The hours are flexible so could suit a 'returning parent' or similarly someone who has a strong HR background but is looking for flexible working hours. A full time candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider business operations, affording excellent personal development potential. An appreciation of business needs is also important so candidates from business management backgrounds that have involved managing people / involvement with HR as part of a 'bigger' role could also be of interest.
