Our client, an award winning and highly respected/innovative organisation within the crime prevention sector, who have experienced YoY growth over the last decade, are seeking for an experienced Head of Sales to develop and drive their sales team forward. Primarily you will be based from their central London offices, covering the UK, although there will be instances where some European and international travel will be required.
Reporting to the Managing Director your key duties are as follows:
vUndertake strategic market reviews including appraisal of clients, services, regions and identification of opportunities for profitable growth
vDetermine the commercial opportunities for the brand based on a clear understanding of the dynamics and competitive environment
vTo produce a healthy short, mid and long term sales lead generation pipeline
vDeliver the business plan in specific market area. Pivotal to the role is an understanding of the market and the major competitors within it
vSourcing and development of new business opportunities and management of existing client relationships with both Agents and Distributors
vManage a small sales team and provide support in order to generate profitable sales/business opportunities. Lead, motivate and direct activity of direct reports as appropriate to achieve short, mid and long term relationships. Dealing with poor performance alongside company policy
vSet clear objectives and KPIs for direct reports with regular meetings to review performance
vWork effectively with Marketing and Production in delivering client and brand needs
vProvide liaison with Agents and Distributors
vEnsure CRM is kept update and used effectively
To be considered for this role you should have:
vHave a solid sales background and experience of developing and managing Distributors
vHighly refined client relationship skills as well as business development, team management and project management experience
vA track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs and exceeding revenue targets
vA high degree of commercial awareness and be social media savvy
vExcellent presentation, negotiation and communications skills
