An exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Manager looking to join a progressive & profitable UK manufacturing group who supply standard & bespoke products into a wide cross section of industries from building & construction to automotive & electrical and many more. The current Group Customer Service Manager is heading towards retirement, hence the need to find a suitably qualified replacement to manage & develop an experienced team across several operational sites.
The Group Customer Service Manager oversees & manages Customer Services across the group, building best practice and management through KPI's created & established across the business as key driving metrics. The role is responsible for developing an enterprise wide approach to customer service that reflects the values & exceptional standards their customers have become accustomed to. A wide & diverse role requiring excellent communication skills both internally & externally, across a number of operating sites in the UK & overseas.
Ensure that the voice of the customer is effectively translated to the operational departments of the business at all times, ensuring the customer's needs & expectations are met.
It is essential that the Group Customer Service Manager can maintain the balance between the needs of the sales & operational teams, whilst ensuring exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.
Review & develop customer service procedures, policies & standards for the group, ensuring smooth & effective implementation, monitoring KPI performance & implementing identified improvement plans for performance gaps.
Working closely with the Sales leadership to ensure full implementation of the CRM system across all operating sites, using this to create statistical analysis for data driven performance improvement programs.
Review & develop the customers' experience through enhancing & implementing processes & procedures to promptly & effectively resolve any customer issues.
This role requires an experienced Customer Services Manager who is accustomed to delivering best practice in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Experience across a multi-site business would be advantageous, knowledge & experience with CRM & ERP systems will be essential.
You will be able to demonstrate a strong, inclusive leadership style, with good understanding of the latest tools & techniques for value creation through operational excellence.
Well developed commercial acumen with a strong understanding of company finances in order to make informed decisions and influence team performance.
