Digital Sales Executive - up to 22k + excellent bonus + benefits - Bromsgrove
This is great opportunity to work for a leader in the specialist publishing world. Your will be responsible for selling digital classified advertising space. This is a key client of mine and I can truthfully say that this a really good opportunity for someone who is sales focussed and very determined. They have a positive working environment with lots of sales incentives to keep you focussed.
Duties will include:
a)Generate business across portfolio of websites
b)Generating revenue from new business streams
c)Increase number of advertisers within portfolio
d)Identify and source new business opportunities by canvassing competitor publications and websites.
e)Effective use of the Salesforce CRM system to record all communication with customers.
Sales process
  Ensuring maximum revenue at maximum yield is achieved.
  Researching and canvassing for new business. Identifying sales opportunities and effectively presenting key features.
  Ensuring clients are up to date with all activities and developments within brand and its associated products.
  Selling the benefits of online advertising to clients.
  Negotiating with customers and media agencies.
  Producing proposals based on customer needs.
  Cross selling across sites as appropriate.
  Monitor competitor websites to seek and convert leads. Also monitor new clients and industry developments for lead conversion.
  Maintaining all records on the database ensuring that all individual and company details are correct and up to date.
  Ensuring signed order confirmations are received before the relevant publication has been published.
  Working to agreed targets and maintaining revenue sheets.
  Monitoring performance of campaigns and reporting back to client and/or agency as required.
Knowledge
  Understanding USPs and benefits of own and competitor products.
  Understanding market trends and developments to maximise sales opportunities
  Researching company activities, divisions, locations and size of clients.
Relationship Management
  Deliver Maximum revenues from new and existing clients while offering an excellent client service.
  Generating new contacts/business from internal sales database, continuing to raise the profile of the section.
  Maintaining and building client relationships.
  Working with production team to ensure that all client instructions are carried out fully as per the customer contract.
Communication
  Contacting key decision makers at client site and developing an understanding of their business.
  Communicating regularly with management regarding prospective business and objectives planned for agencies / clients.
  Communicating with commercial director regarding monthly sales progress.
