Description:
Our client, based North of Bimingham, is seeking a Digital Marketing/SEO Co-Ordinator to maximise the opportunities presented by the internet in generating new business and building market presence.
The successful candidate will be able to impress with recent & demonstrable success in SEO strategy & campaign management as well as being able to inspire with their grasp of website design, content & development.
Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Input in developing short and long term search strategies.Conducting market analysis and competitor reviews,
Managing and developing a social media campaign encompassing all tools available such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook as appropriate.Helping in the preparation of monthly client performance reports and presentations as required, Keeping the clients and Managing Director updated on the status of account activities, Ensuring campaigns are set up and optimised in the correct way, according to brief and SEO Best Practice,Regularly monitoring campaigns to ensure they hit relevant targets ,Analysing, identifying and reporting on both on/off-page issues faced by clients and their competitors, Manage content-led SEO projects, keyword research.
Being a highly organised individual who can withstand pressure, fulfil deadlines, and prioritise their time & resources efficiently, you will need:
A strong knowledge of on/off-page SEO factors, including dissecting HTML code, building logical site architectures etc,An excellent understanding of developing social media strategy in line with business aims and current marketing activity,An understanding of the search engine algorithms, how they affect rankings and what factors play an important role, Experience in using Google Analytics data to discover trends, untapped search terms and on-page issues, A thorough working knowledge of Google Places, Google Products and Google News, and related enginesA proven ability to increase the rankings, traffic and visibility of a website via SEO, To remain at the forefront of SEO knowledge by keeping up to date with industry news and developments The ability to make small development website changes (knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript a bonus) A valid UK Driving Licence is required as there will be requirement to travel to different sites from time to time.
On offer is a basic salary upto 25,000 subject to experience.
