Digital Marketing Executive - to 25,000 plus benefits
Our client, a long established & successful Birmingham based software house is seeking a Digital Marketing Executive as part of their continued global expansion. This is a new role, reporting into the Digital Marketing Manager, supporting the ambitious growth plans for the business. Primary responsibilities include managing the company's paid search campaigns, working on B2B lead nurturing campaigns, improving the profile of the company's software in organic search rankings and promoting the business through social media & content outreach.
This role would suit a Marketing or Business graduate with minimum 12 months digital marketing experience and a huge passion for all things digital.
Specific duties will include:
Performing daily account management functions on Google AdWords, LinkedIn and other search platforms with the objective of generating marketing qualified leads. Activities include maintenance and monitoring of keyword bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, quality score and other PPC metrics.
Provide recommendations and execute strategies for growing the online channel, including suggestions to/for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, ad copy and graphical layout.
Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments.
Write blog posts, articles, and rich media content for social media channels.
Manage and grow the companys Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook following.
Monitor, measure and report on the success of community engagement.
Enhance the companys organic search ranking for identified keywords and phrases
Grow organic search channel as a lead generation source.
Identify opportunities for thought leadership and campaign content
Provide detailed SEO reporting
Using WordPress CMS to add news and blog content to website
Analysing website usage statistics and reporting as required
Attending meetings to plan and develop web-site content
Planning and executing B2B email campaigns by segment
Working closely with sales and account management teams to deliver campaigns to support new lead generation and upsell
Production of creative content, generating ideas for email templates in line with current best practice to increase open and click rates
Reporting on all campaign performance with suggestions for improvement
Creative/Design
Creating and generating ideas for infographics for online channel distribution
Working within corporate brand guidelines
Using design packages to edit and produce creative media as needed
The candidate:

Minimum 12 months post-grad experience working within a digital marketing team/organisation;
Online acquisition experience required; SEMPO, Adwords or similar accreditation preferred, but not essential.
Google digital certification desirable but not essential
Qualified to degree level in Business or Marketing preferred
Strong time management and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Understanding of website development tools, Salesforce and marketing automation would be ideal, but not essential.
Understanding or experience of using industry standard packages such as Adobe Suite
Salary is negotiable to 25,000 + benefits.
