Digital & Print Sales Manager - up to 30k + excellent bonus + benefits - Bromsgrove
This is great opportunity to work for a leader in the specialist publishing world. Your will be responsible for all revenue and products from their print and digital inventory. You will be required to maximize revenues across the commercial platforms through effective management of the commercial team (4), also relationships with clients, agencies, internal teams and third party contacts. The role also involves working closely with the Events Team to support company-wide, cross-media solutions for key accounts. This is a key client of mine and I can truthfully say that this a really good opportunity they have a positive working environment with lots of incentives to keep you and your team focussed.
Key Account Responsibilities:
  Knowledge and effective use of the Salesforce CRM system. Ensuring the team use the system in line with the business KPIs.
  Responsible for leading the combined print and digital team and delivering budgeted commercial revenues - ensuring delivery of sales targets, management of inventory, and adherence to defined KPIs and minimum performance expectations
  Identifies key existing, lapsed and emerging key accounts by category and develops productive relationships at a senior level to drive new business across the division, through a variety of mechanisms (telephone, email, face to face meetings, portfolio pitches, pro-active follow up etc.)
  Generates incremental revenue streams from advertisers by creating compelling and integrated propositions.
  Works closely with all editorial and commercial teams, sharing contact information with all relevant parties to build both knowledge and skill sets across the teams
  Creates compelling sales materials that demonstrate effective combinations across print and digital to support repeat, and secure new, cross-media revenue streams to support delivery of revenue targets
  Collaborates with the editorial, marketing and commercial leadership teams to ensure that the overall objectives of the business are met for revenues, processes, culture and business development
  Shares best practice and collaborates with wider commercial team to develop core commercial skills (networking, influencing, business acumen etc.) across the business
  Supports a positive and collaborative team environment, providing coaching and regular feedback on individual performance in conjunction with the relevant line manager. Conducts regular performance review meetings with direct reports to set objectives, monitor performance against those objectives and ensure development against any gaps. Undertakes performance conversations a minimum of twice each year using Your Performance.

  Demonstrable project management skills; able to plan and deliver to agreed schedules
  Prior experience in cross-platform commercial partnership or business development
  Experience of working collaboratively with multi-platform teams
  Ability to work with senior industry contacts
Success Measures:
  To ensure the team achieves or exceeds budgeted print and digital revenues.
  New revenue is generated from the defined target list annually
  That the commercial team consistently hits both individual and team revenue targets with each team member demonstrating contributions across the full revenue mix and any shortfalls being met by the overall team
To be considered for this role you do need to have prior media sales skills at a senior level and have supervised/mentored a successful sales team
