Customer Services Advisor - Export Team
Our client, an expanding, long established and market leading manufacturer & exporter of consumer products is seeking a Customer Services Advisor for their Export team.
Reporting to the Head of Customer Services, specific duties will include:
Preparing customs & export documentation for all export global shipments.
Ensuring the shipping documentation is present and correct for each shipment
Progress chasing
Sales order entry
Order verification
Taking calls and dealing with enquires
Project management
Work in conjunction with the Export Sales team
Completing new product forms on customers SAP systems
Liaising with freight forwarders, negotiating rates and arranging UK & direct Shipments
Skills required:
Previous experience and understanding of export documentation preparation is essential
NVQ Level 2 Customer Service would be desirable
Sage 500 experience advantageous, however training will be provided
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite
Attention to detail
Excellent communication, accuracy and numeric skills
Able to work on own initiative
Ability to take ownership of customers enquiries
Excellent time management skills
Commitment to training and personal development
A team player
On offer is a basic salary of c15,000 plus benefits.
