Description:

The marketing department is currently based in London but they will soon be relocating to Herefordshire. And as a key member of the Marketing management team, you will be responsible for providing customer insight and communicating this to the Company. You will lead a team of Analysts who are all focused on delivering and developing all customer, marketing and website analysis and reporting, and insight to drive action and performance improvement.
You will have overall responsibility for the customer database and subsequent profiling and segmentation as well as designing, testing and documenting processes and reporting techniques to implement a range of projects and campaigns.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Managing a team of Analysts
- Producing and managing all marketing reports and processes
- Delivering website and marketing analytics reporting, ensuring updates are made in line with schedules
- Overseeing the competitor reporting and analysis for the department
- Championing the use of real customer insight across the channels
- Driving the understanding of customer needs using existing database, profiling techniques or customer surveys
- Management of the customer database, profiling and segmentation for the business
- Responsible for the mailing process and customer selection
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience of working in a fast paced commercial environment, ideally with marketing analysis and customer database management background
- Interpret complex data and reports, with a view to providing insights to the business for acquisition, retention and reactivation programs
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel and an understanding of databases and their application
- SQL experience
- Relevant analytical experience
- Understanding of data integrity and data protection
- Effective communicator with good leadership skills
- Able to relocate to Worcestershire when the company moves in mid 2013
This role commands a salary of up to 55,000, Company bonus, discounts on the product range and subsidised gym membership.
