Our client is a well-established & expanding, multi-award winning manufacturing company based in the West Midlands, supplying bespoke engineered components & solutions to the energy sector worldwide. They consider themselves as the best at what they do.
As part of their ongoing expansion plans they now require 2 Contracts Sales Engineers to work on contracts that typically range in value from 100,000 to 500,000 and with lead times of 12 months plus. The Project Engineers are not new business developers. They pick up the enquiry from the Sales team, analyse it, quote for it, process the confirmed order and, finally, make sure the order is fulfilled on time and on budget. The Projects team is a fulcrum between the Commercial & Engineering teams, so inter-departmental communication is both extensive & key to the success of each project.
To apply for this role you will be very organised, structured and hands-on by nature with a track record of success working on high value enquiries & contracts, ideally related to bespoke engineered components & solutions. The perfect candidate will have had exposure to the sub-sea sector.
On offer is a basic salary in the region of 30,000-50,000 plus benefits. To clarify, the client isn't adverse to recruiting a more senior Contracts Sales Engineer (perhaps paying them 50,000) and a more junior Contracts Sales Engineer (perhaps paying them 30,000). They are open and will judge each candidate on their own merits.
