Communications Senior Executive

My client is one of the worlds largest and most prestigious international accounting firms. They are seeking a Communications Senior Executive for a brand new position to join their 20 strong Communications (internal and external) team covering the UK and Ireland.
Duties will include:
-Communications adviser to the partnerships covering Birmingham, Nottingham, Luton, Cambridge, Reading and Southampton.
-Creating innovative campaigns through taking stories and content from within the business to appeal to the local media or internally
-Involvement with national campaigns
-Regular travel to the HQ in London
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate through past experience that you have the following:
-The skill and flair to interpret a complex subject matter easily understandable and compelling to target audiences
-Strong proven relationships with the local media
-Experience of advising clients on how to build effective communication programs which engage regional/UK media and internal staff
-Excellent networker and a contact book of regional business press
-Internal communications - events management, newsletter production, print and electronic media production
This is a full time position paying around 31,000.
