Category Manager
This leading distributor of automotive parts is seeking a Category Manager to join their marketing team, based from their offices.
Responsibilities include:
General - managing the Product Management activities on a day to day basis to ensure all KPI and primary business objectives are met for the category.
Pricing - including margin expectations, pricing maintenance and administration
Product Range Management - range review, R&D, stock budgets and performance, new product releases.
Account Management - manage and handle supplier accounts to ensure a fast and accurate transfer of data and commercial policies.
Product File Management - ensuring the company product mainframe is fully up to date with various pricing levels, obsolescence, supersessions, etc.
Marketing Communication - oversee all Product Management and communication relating the this category - both internal and external.
The ideal candidate will already have gained a good level of experience in a category management or product management role and will have previously managed large product ranges - ideally within the automotive aftermarket marketplace, however, training in specific product areas will be given. Preferably, you'll also have experience of supplier account management, competent writing skills and proven experience of pricing, and, in addition, you'll be commercially astute, flexible and possess excellent MS Office skills.
