An exciting new challenge being created by this Midlands based provider to the financial services industry. Please note this role does not involve selling financial services. They are a fully regulated & approved business who provide Independent Financial Advisers with the compliance & regulatory support needed for them to run their own successful businesses, enabling them to concentrate on giving the best customer service.
This is a new role, looking for a dynamic & tenacious individual who is looking for a varied & interesting career, with great prospects to develop to a management position. The role is responsible for contacting independent financial advisers, fully understanding their businesses, needs & requirements and presenting them with a comprehensive business support package that will encourage them to work with & through a new support provider.
There is a comprehensive & accurate database to work with, but you will also get involved in many marketing related activities to promote the business including social media, networking, events, e-marketing etc, developing contacts & growing the business. This can involve regular contact with individuals over many months, nurturing their potential interest right up to the point when they are ready for a change. You will also be responsible for ensuring the suitability of potential new business partners through interview & assessment.
You will have on-going managerial responsibility for new contacts brought on board, looking after their requirements & ensuring both parties are consistently achieving the best possible results through the partnership.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills & experience, but most importantly will combine enthusiasm, positive attitude & drive with great organisational skills. You'll need to have excellent communication skills & commercial acumen, with the ability to retain focus whilst managing multiple projects. Whilst sales / business development experience is essential, the sector is less important, although any experience related to recruitment, financial services, franchising or similar could be advantageous.
