Role: Business Development Manager
Reporting to:National Sales Manager
Salary:30,000 - 35,000 per annum
Bonus:Up to 20% of the basic salary - measured against performance targets
A leading manufacturer of high quality PPE products are seeking an experienced Business development manager to cover the Midlands area.
The current route to market is through distributors, however this role will encompass expansion into direct sales on a B2B basis
Definition & Scope
  Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will manage an existing sales territory, as well as seek new ways to expand current sales and routes to market.
  Conduct gap analysis and recommend ways to upsell existing business and add new customers, in-particular verticals where they are currently underrepresented.
  Develop and roll out strategic sales plans
  Work closely with the internal sales team to maximise coverage of existing customers and identify new opportunities for growth.
  Oversee the current CRM system, keeping records up to date.
  Provide continuous market intelligence to the NSM through the development and management of an opportunity funnel
  Support all exhibitions and tradeshows to maximise on opportunities
  Maintain and submit company records - expense reports, monthly sales reports etc. in a professional and timely manner.
