Business Development Manager - Sports Industry - West Midlands - c35k OTE 45k + benefits
An outstanding opportunity to join a major sports venue working for the Non Match Day Sales & Marketing Department.
The purpose of the role is to actively sell the conference, exhibition and banqueting facilities available at the venue to achieve target revenues and key performance indicators. To manage the day to day aspects of the Stadiums proactive sales and be responsible for the reporting of results and targets on a weekly basis to the Sales Manager.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, presentation and telesales skills. Naturally, you will be highly motivated, possess good time management, administrative and organisation skills. Be able to work as a part of a team and individually and must demonstrate the highest professional standards of operation and service.
Must be customer focused and with an understanding of client requirements and orientation towards service of others. A self-starter who has the ability to maintain focus in the achievement of targets.
To be considered for this role you must have prior experience in the following:
  Sports Industry sales background or hospitality/venue sales
  B2B sales experience within the Midlands area
  Highly driven with a proven track record in sales
  Professional and consultative approach to sales
  Can work as part of an active team
