My client are a well-established and respected business consultancy that provides software to mid-market companies. They are seeking a highly proactive BDM with a proven track record, to help develop and grow new business sales. You will be supported to a strong internal sales team and marketing team.

Duties will include:
  Prospect and Identify new clients
  Achieve new business target by initiating and managing the sales cycle through to close and support through to implementation
  Discover client needs and put together proposals and pricing
  Provide monthly sales forecasts
  Present new solutions and services to existing clients until which time they are handed over to the Account Management team
  70% of your time will be with clients, face to face
  Typical sales targets will be 50- 60k GP per quarter
To be considered for this role:
  Proven track record in business development/ new business sales within software sales
  Experience of producing written quotations
  Communicating and presenting at a senior level
  Sales forecasting
  Well-presented and excellent communication skills
  Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  Numerate and commercially aware
