Business Development Manager - Software Solutions
Our client, a leading International software company specialising in Customer Experience solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager as part of their ongoing expansion plans.
Reporting to the Business Development Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business within the retail and/or hospitality/food service sectors throughout the UK. The focus will be on driving new business through pipeline development (initial contact research, arranging senior level meetings, presentations & proposals) to closing the sale & contract negotiation at senior executive level.
The ability to effectively communicate the strategic benefits of a Customer Experience programme to senior leaders within prospective clients is a crucial part of the role. The annual sales target will be in the region of 750,000 to 1 million, with contract values ranging from 50,000 to 1 million plus.
To apply for this role you should have a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets within a consultative, service based environment, ideally across retail, hospitality or food service sectors. A typical sales cycle is in the region of 3-6 months. You will be an accomplished presenter & closer at Main Board Director level, ideally living within comfortable commuting distance of the companys Birmingham office.
On offer is a negotiable basic salary plus excellent commission potential, befitting a Senior Business Development role
