Business Development Manager - Middle East

Our client, a long established & market leading niche Software provider, specialising in Oil & Gas, Mining and Manufacturing sectors, is seeking a Business Development Manager to develop their partner/channel network throughout the GCC region.
Primary duties will include:
Developing a partner/channel network in the GCC
Supporting channel partners - product & sales training; assisting with proposal submission; providing sales & marketing resources; attending industry trade events; attending prospect meetings (web-conference & on-site).
Developing & driving business plans and revenue targets for partner companies.
Proactively sourcing new leads in target markets/countries - follow up on prospectuve accounts as appropriate.
Responding directly to RFP's, RFQ's nd RFI's as appropriate.
Attending and promoting the company at trade shows and other corporate events.
Candidate profile:
Minimum 5 years software/solution sales/channel management experience.
Advanced IT skills: e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SalesForce, WebEx.
Able to work independently and as part of team.
Excellent time management & interpersonal skills.
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Residing in the GCC region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar,Kuwait) and able to travel up to 50% of the time
