24,000 basic (Neg); 45,000 OTE (open ended) + car allowance + lap top + iPhone
Our client a leading professional body seeks to strengthen their sales team by recruiting a Business Development Manager. Established over 10 years ago they represent professionals within the IT training sector and are now recognised as the leading authority throughout the UK and Europe. As the company seeks to strengthen its sales function they seek to add a Business Development Manager to the team. Joining a small team the role will take responsibility for the sale of accreditation and assessment services into IT training providers and internal training departments. Taking over an existing territory the role will be responsible for the full cycle of sales activity from making cold / warm calls to clients to arranging appointments; to then delivering compelling presentations to senior level clients with a view to securing additional business.
We seek a proven sales professional who possesses the following qualities:Ideally a good understanding of the learning and development market (including IT Training)
Proven consultative, concept or solution sales skillsAbility to open and close a sales negotiation
Excellent presentation skills
A self starter who will take responsibility for their time management and results A flair for innovation and an understanding of classroom and blended learningGood people, listening and management skills to support the customer, trainers and team membersA genuine networker both online and face to face
Experience of working with clients to develop a bespoke solution that fits their businessGood written English, for bids and tendering activity Understanding of ROI and measurement modelsAccountability to deliver against targetsDegree Educated or equivalent educational standards
