Our client is a very successful public/private sector strategic marketing partnership whose over-riding objective is to help grow Birmingham's visitor economy and generate inward investment & job creation into the region, putting the city at the top of the list for any relocating business and potential investors.
The recruitment of a Business Development Executive will further strengthen their team.
Predominantly internally based (Birmingham City Centre) the successful candidate will provide research and project support to the Business Development Managers who liaise with prospective investors from around the world looking to expand or develop their business interests in Birmingham and surrounding regions.
This is a great role for someone with strong research and administrative skills, who is keen to develop into a business development professional. If you have 1 to 2 years B2B sales experience already then all the better (although this isn't essential).
To apply for this role you will have first class organisational, administrative and interpersonal skills. You will also have proven experience of effective team working and be highly self motivated by nature.
On offer is a basic salary in the region of 21,000 + bonus + benefits to include 24 days annual leave + pension scheme.
