Bid Manager PFI - Central London - c55k + 20% bonus + 650 car allowance pcm + benefits
My client is a global leader in their field and they are seeking an experienced bid manager with PFI experience. You will be part of, form and lead bid teams in response to Public Private Partnership and integrated contract opportunities and other municipal disposal tenders employing other contractual arrangements.
To oversee and develop all aspects of the tender responses, including areas such as Technical, Planning, Legal, Insurance, Financial/Commercial and Sustainability.
To form the customer and internal relationships.
Business Performance:
To ensure that revenue is generated profitably, in sustainable manner (technically, socially and environmentally responsible, and health and safety compliant)
To maintain the image of the company when meeting with external current and future clients
To win new business (or re-win existing ones) and to develop the Groups market share in public sector contracts
Customers:
To form positive relationships with key Councils/Clients that will develop into long-term partnerships through the life of the contracts
To correctly interpret the clients requirements. Translate the requirements into a program of work, and to favourably present the response back to the client
Demonstrate how the company can add value to the project
People:
Ensure that all people involved in a bid/project, provide the information on time and as expected. Co-ordinate various departments and understand enough of each speciality to bring the end document together.

Key responsibilities in the development of tenders to ensure that the company adheres to the EU procurement rules and timing such projects
Ensure that the project is delivered on time, quality and in a compliant manner
Internal Processes:
Required to deliver written and verbal presentation of investment projects (large value) through the UK Investment Committee
To be considered for this role my client is seeking the following:
Leading and infrastructure bid process experience
Understanding of business risks
Knowledge of legal aspects, contracts terms and conditions, schedules
Excellent written and verbal skills
PFI knowledge
Understanding of how Public Sector bids work
