Area Sales Manager - home based
The Territory
Northern England/Scotland - location is flexible and could include Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Cheshire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria or Northumberland.
The Company
Market leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial safety and environmental consumables.
Responsibilities
Achieve agreed monthly & annual new business sales plans.
Develop and support end user accounts, with a view to gaining the highest possible share of sales per site and per customer.
Develop customer relationships - gather information one-to-one, using a personal inventory of skills that include needs-identification, empathy and communication.
Provide timely and clear communications regarding customer needs and information as well as market conditions to the Sales Director.
Complete territory activity reports each work and achieve sales targets and KPI's
Key Experiences/Attributes Sought
Proven sales track record within an engineering end user marketplace - ideally having sold to such sectors as chemical, power, oil, automotive and manufacturing industries.
High energy, focused and committed - ability to gain trust quickly and build strong relations within all levels of an organization.
Strong communication and organisation skills.
Computer literate.
Confident and comfortable with negotiating.
