Due to continuing growth and success of our award winning client we have an opportunity for a new Logistics Administrator.
The main purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the warehouse team.
To provide end to end logistics support and to coordinate the movement of stock from the on-site warehouse to customers. The key focus of this varied role will be to liaise with various transport companies to ensure they meet their Customers Delivery demands.
Key Responsibilities
Arrange stock movements to include;
  Liaising with customers about deliveries bookings;
  Liaising with Hauliers and booking in deliveries;
  Preparing load plans (orders) for collection/delivery with Hauliers ensuring relevant paper is correct and up to date;
  Liaising with the on-site warehouse with regard to collections and deliveries of customer orders; and
  Organising & planning picking for the warehouse with Warehouse Manager.
Responsible for managing and arranging collections;
Booking in collections with freight-forwarding companies;
Raising Certificates of Origin/Free Sale/EUR1s, commercial invoices, Dangerous Goods Notes and packing lists where necessary;
Ensuring compliance to legal regulations and company policies;
Liaise with shipping agent, negotiate rates and prepare quotations for customers
Tracking goods on route to their destinations ensuring any problems that arise are resolved to avoid delays;
Ensuring our records are kept up to date with PODs, CMRs and Certificates of Shipment;
Communicating special customer requests with the warehouse.
Any other reasonable request set by Management.
To be considered for this role:
To apply for this role you will need strong Excel skills
Logistics Experience would be an advantage
You will have excellent communication skills
A methodical and highly organised approach with an ability to prioritise work tasks with an exceptional attention to detail
A keen willingness to learn
The ability to work well within a team environment as well as individually
Knowledge of GP Dynamics system is desirable but not essential, full training will be provided.
Good Standard of education to include English and Mathematics and IT.
