Key Objectives
Account management across a portfolio of UK and International Beauty Brands, promoting their UK manufactured items including their patented self-tanning applicator mitts, cosmetic wipes and beauty applicators
To achieve profitable growth while providing excellent customer service.
Key Tasks
Account Management: Provide the key point of contact between existing customers and/or agents and my client;
-articulating the professional, efficient and innovative culture of the company at all times
-overseeing the administrative requirements for each account, including monitoring and updating customer databases and portals, checking order accuracy and ensuring on time deliveries and internal collaboration to resolve any supply / quality issues.
-Monitoring sales figures against target. Monthly reporting of any variances and corrective action plans to ensure sales are always in line with or exceed the agreed annual target and meet margin KPIs
-Drive business development opportunities for the expansion of their products within your accounts. To then be responsible for driving the critical time path management for all new product developments, working in conjunction with the appropriate colleagues to prepare samples, assess costings and financial feasibility, prepare quotations and customer presentations. All with the ultimate goal to convert enquiries and grow business.
Sales Forecasting and Analysis;
-Liaison with customers and agents to ensure the maintenance of accurate sales forecast information at all times
-Maintain and manage the weekly rolling forecast variance report for the manufacturing sales customers
Delivery of brilliant customer service: Manage and exceed customer expectations. Provide timely and accurate information.
Profitability: Ultimate responsibility for profitability of your accounts and individual product lines against KPI through a thorough approach and understanding of costs and robust price negotiations with customers.
Promotional / Marketing Activities: Co-ordination of any trade shows attendance to include overseeing samples preparation, promotional literature, travel arrangements etc. Attendance at trade shows and customer meetings (UK and Overseas) where applicable.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
-Educated to Degree Level or equivalent
-Account Management background from within a B2B environment.
-Experience of product based sales
-Mathematically astute with a high standard of written and verbal English
-Fully PC literate including Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
