The Company
Our client, a long established & successful Birmingham based software house and IT services provider, is seeking an Account Manager due to their continued global expansion.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for actively maintaining & growing a portfolio of existing accounts, upselling additional software modules and associated professional services to these clients.
Whilst the main focus of the role will be on UK based customers there will also be the opportunity for some international travel. You can expect, as a successful Account Manager, to travel in excess of 30,000 miles per annum.
An integral part of the role will be attending exhibitions and handling new business enquiries that arise from this, along with organising and participating in user group meetings.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you should have a proven track record of achievement within an Account Management role, ideally software or IT services related.
You should be highly self motivated, ambitious and determined to progress your career with a market leader.
The Package
c28,000 basic salary + commission + car + benefits.
