My client is a successful Direct Response agency, with a wide mix of clients in the Financial, Travel, Entertainment, Childrens and Property sectors. They are an independent agency with a very entrepreneurial nature and encourage their staff to think outside of the box and bring fresh ideas to their clients and to the agency.
Job Description:
The Account Manager will work within the Media Planning Department and will support the Director in all aspects of the business across a selection of clients.
Key Responsibilities Day to day handling of client accounts Multimedia strategy and planning Drive more business from existing clients New business pitching and sourcing Price negotiation for clients across all media Monthly client media planning Results analysis Monitoring clients competitors activity Attend client meetings
Candidate Requirements:
Key Attributes Self-motivated. Highly numerical / analytical. Confident and proactive. Ability to work individually and as part of a team. Good presentation skills. Attention to detail. Ability to interpret data in concise manner. Strong interpersonal skills. Good time management and organisational skills. Commercial awareness.
Key Requirements Minimum 3-4 years experience in a media agency. Strong understanding of a wide range of media vehicles within Direct Response, particularly DRTV and Online. A good knowledge of multi media planning
The ideal candidate:
  Would currently work for any London based media agency on direct response accounts.
  Wide base of media knowledge from Online to TV
  Run direct response campaigns
  Pitched for new business
