Account Executive

Well established Full Service Marketing & Communications agency based in Staffordshire are seeking to expand their team by recruiting an Account Executive. The need to recruit an Account Executive has arisen due to recent new business wins, which in the present climate speaks volumes about the credentials of this well established agency. The agency provides services to an enviable portfolio of clients, requiring you to work on both leading consumer and trade accounts. The role of Account Executive reports directly to the Managing Director, however will assist with a wide range of responsibilities as specified by the senior members of the team, longer term it is expected and hoped this role will take increasing responsibility for its own projects. These will include:
Liaison and servicing clients on a day to day basis.
Media liaison.
Writing copy for websites, literature, advertising and PR e.g. press releases, features, case studies.
Organising press release distribution and follow up
Actioning press packs
Organising & managing PR photography.
Monitoring PR coverage and advertising voucher copies
Organising competitions & promotions.
Helping to organise events.
Liaison with marketing, advertising, design and web colleagues in actioning research, copy sheets and content for advertising and printed materials, helping to schedule and traffic their projects, helping to prepare presentation materials
Liaison with clients on advertising campaigns and booking media as relevant.
Liaison with suppliers.
Raising & closing jobs and seeing through to accounts
General admin including research, photocopying & filing
Helping out with client hospitality
We seek a proven marketing or PR specialist with a minimum of 12 months agency experience who is seeking an environment to kick start or reinvigorate their career. Ideally you will be Degree qualified with excellent writing skills, however of greater importance is a willingness to work hard, develop new skills and maximise the full potential of this developmental role.
