Our client, a leading, long established Marketing Services Company specialising in outsourced B2B Telemarketing services is seeking an Account Director as part of their ongoing expansion.
The role:
Reporting to the Sales Director, responsible for selling a professional and quality telemarketing service as well as additional add on complimentary services.
Generating the sales of campaigns and longer term contracts from SME and large B2B organisations across a variety of industries including IT & Telco, Logistics & Materials Handling plus Business & Professional Services.
Generating new business clients and then developing the client relationship to build the account.
Generating own appointments (although will have the support of an appointment making team who would make a significant contribution).
Attending 8 to 10 appointments per week, which would be a combination of Face to Face and/or over the phone/Skype. Average week would be 3 days in, 2 days out.
Looking after/facilitating the client from the order stage through to campaign completion, looking for repeat business through excellent customer service.
Motivating the project team assigned to each specific client.
Travelling throughout the UK, mainly the Midlands, South East, London and the Home Counties - M40, M4, M3.
The candidate:
Must be experienced in a B2B target driven, sales environment and be able to demonstrate a track record of success. If selling outsourced telemarketing or other marketing services then all the better.
A naturally hard working, self-motivated individual, confident and very presentable, ideally based within the West Midlands and commutable to Birmingham
Someone who likes to create their own opportunities, with a natural focus on generating new business and converting them to clients.
Knows, understands and accepts the sales environment and has an appreciation and a reality of working within a sales team with a mixture of working from the office and being on the road.
On offer is a basic salary in the region of 20-35,000, subject to experience, open ended commission giving an OTE of c50,000 + competitive car allowance, laptop & mobile phone.
